You do not need to be an expert in order to look for signs that you may have a gas leak. Here are some common signs to look out for.

Using the cook top and your flames are low and flickering

For households gas meters are usually at the front of the property on the right or left as you enter. If you live in an apartment block or unit, it usually locked in a common area.

A common hazard is not having adequate ventilation for heating installation into an older property. New regulation requires better ventilation for these setups. Most older homes do not have that ventilation. Our Plumbers will perform an assessment and calculation to see what type of heater can be installed based on the ventilation.

A gas bayonet allows for a safe connection between your appliance and gas supply by simply inserting and twisting. Working much like a water hose the safety does not allow for gas to flow unless it is pushed in correctly. This also gives you flexibility when using it with appliances, making access easier.
